Play Dough

We had music and movement at our local library (great program!) and our instructor had home-made play dough for the kids at the end. It was awesome play dough, very smooth and easy to work with; and so I asked if I could have the recipe and share it,  here it is:

1 1/2  cups flour
1/2 cup salt
1 T alum
1 T baby oil (or oil)
1 cup boiling water
Food coloring (optional)
Extra flour to condition until desired consistency

To boiling water add the rest of the ingredients. Mix slightly without over doing it and cool down.
Store in a sealed bag in the fridge when not in use (or mold will form). Use for a week or maybe two and discard.

I add the food coloring to the boiling water to make it easier to mix.

You will love this play dough!
