Things you can say in your sleep....

Perhaps you have read this same entry in my other blog, so I apologize for the repeat. I feel that the care my husband shows and has for me and our family makes my life as a mom a very fun, rewarding, while yet challenging and full of adventures. So I decided to start this blog telling a little bit about that relationship Aaron and I share. I treasure him and love him. I am so grateful for his love and patience with me, and believe me he has a LOT of patience with me.

This is a picture of Jared asleep taken a couple of years ago.... Jared was 7-8 months maybe, but I am only using the picture here to write about a different sleeping occasion....

See, Aaron is great at helping with kids at night for which I am eternally grateful. He is the best at keeping up with what kids need and what I need even if it's 3:00am and we are getting little sleep because someone is sick or teething or whatever else.

If you are Aaron; you are kindly welcome to stop reading this now... maybe :) I love you Aaron!

So last month we had a few days with little sleep (parents out there can relate to this) :) One good night, as we were barely falling asleep Mackenzie cried. I went to tend to her and upon my return I thought that he (Aaron) was already asleep. As I got myself nice and comfortable in our cozy blankets; I heard Aaron say: "I Love you Aby!" to which I responded "I love you too"

... and so I thought: "Oh' he is still awake!" A few seconds later this was the conversation that took place:

Aaron: "Hhm Do you want me to braid it?
Me: "Braid what"
Aaron: "Your hair"
Me: "Why do you want to braid my hair?"
Aaron: "So, that it does not fall in the toilet!"

Then complete silence..... except for me laughing so hard. I realized then that he was talking in his sleep and to this moment he does not have any recollection of that conversation.

If you are still reading Aaron, I still have a question: Why or how or when was my hair falling in the toilet?
I love you Aaron! Thanks for all you do every day and every night including talking while you sleep. I needed that laugh!
